During my recent short stay in Dubai, I went to Sun & Sand Sports in the Festival City Mall (next to Toys R Us), which I visited last time I was in Dubai too. They have just a small selection of rods and reels (mostly Penn), a few hooks and lines and a rack of hard lures from Rapala and Storm - what are referred to as "wobblers" here in Switzerland.

They have Rapala Countdown and Magnums in sizes from 11cm and up, as well as Storm Shallow & Deep Thunder lures in the 11-14cm range. They have a decent range of patterns/colours, mostly oriented to tropical/sea fish but also some pike and perch flavours for me to use back home.

The marked prices of lures are from 25-65 Dirhams but all the stuff I bought (lures and hooks) was half price or even just under although there was no notice of any sale or discounting anywhere.....nice surprise at the checkout therefore.

I bought 11cm and 14cm Rapala Floating Magnums for 15 and 18 Dirhams each and a Storm Shallow Thunder for 11.
A battered box of 50 VMC size 1 trebles marked at 65, mine for 33! (They have/had just a few boxes of some larger sizes left.)

No clue if these prices are cheap in the UAE, so you may or not be rushing there yourself to see what's left, but compared to prices in Switzerland, I got a GREAT bargain!

The prices you got the gear for are cheap even for Dubai.

Unfortunately the fish here seem to be very finicky & difficult to please. They know when some of the tackle has been purchased at a lower price & refuse to be hooked with them.

Anyway, the fish back home probably wont know the difference.....so all the best & tight lines !
