With the abundance of needlefish/garfish where i fish i thought i'd give these lures a try. I presume they might even imitate halfbeaks as well? I also have a rapala version called Silver-13 which i will also try out this weekend. The jointed lure in the photo is by Strike-Pro.

The lure itself is 16cm long with about another 3cm for the hooks at the end. Its the smallest in the range - i think they go up to 25cm.

It's very narrow - only about 7mm wide/deep. I'll let you know how i get on. Last weekend i used dead needlefish and did get some hits from them (but didnt land anything) - they were around 25cm.
